Types of Flooring We offer
At Manor Interiors, we do not limit ourselves to one location, or one form of work. Similarly, we do not limit ourselves when it comes to the materials we work with. Our aim is to consistently go above and beyond for the highly valued customers we work alongside, and we will tailor the materials we use to the specifications of our customers.
Having extensive experience in the industry, we can source materials at the best price to ensure you never pay over the odds for the work we carry out.
A few of the flooring types we can fit include, but are not limited to:
Wood flooring is popular in a wide variety of environments due to its hard wearing nature and sophisticated appearance.
Quality wood floors are easy to install, due to their straight and uniform fit. Another distinct benefit of this type of flooring is that they are easy for users to clean, and by their very nature do not accumulate a lot of dust or debris.
Of course, hard-wood flooring also brings a high-quality look to any room and can be incorporated into traditional spaces to add further charismatic charm, or into contemporary spaces to add a touch of elegance and sophistication.
Many customers choose hard-wood flooring due to its strength and durability. If you are looking for a floor type that will stand the test of time, growing well with age, wood flooring could be the option for you.
We understand that every customer we liaise with will have different opinions, motivations for carrying out a refurbishment of their space and differing budgets, which is why we carry out a full assessment of the space we will work in, using the most appropriate materials for the project.
Laminate flooring is a great option for those customers who want to get the beauty and finish of wood flooring without spending a ton of money.
Essentially, laminate flooring is a low-cost alternative, as they made of wood pulp and resin. It can even mimic any type of wood, ranging from maple or cherry to reclaimed barn wood. Only a discerning buyer can tell the difference between a wood and laminate floor.
Laminate floors are also easy and quick to install because they are designed for a click-together floating floor type installation.
Overall, laminate is a great option for a hardwood like in kitchens and living room areas. Before we install though, we do a full assessment of the space to decide the right materials needed for the floor. We also work within your specifications and budget to give you the best possible look.
Today’s environments need a high level of flexibility to accommodate frequent layouts, and one of the best flooring types for such flexibility is carpet tiling because it is a modular system that can be adjusted to meet the changing preferences of customers.
The biggest advantage with carpet tiles is you have a high design flexibility and low costs of reorganization, thereby making it ideal for both office and home environments. Also carpet tiles easy to remove or change cutting costs at the end of your lease, making this the number one choice in most modern offices today.
Another reason to choose carpet tiling is their attractive design. They come in many designs and textures to increase the aesthetic appeal of your living and working spaces. We can also offer carpet tiles that offer improved levels of acoustic and DB reduction between floors. A special backing under the tile helps improve the sound absorption and insulation, offering upwards of 40db. Additionally, it offers an even more comfortable underfoot feel than standard carpet due to the acoustic backing.
We work with you to customize your space and to provide the best design ideas for your flooring, after assessing the space.
Raised Access Flooring
Raised access floor gives you an elevation over a concrete slab to create a hidden void, mostly for electrical and mechanical services. Though this type of flooring is more common in office buildings, some homeowners prefer to have it at home too.
There are two types of access floors, namely,
- Low profile access floor
- Standard access floor
A low profile floor is one that is less than 6″ in height and is mostly used for cables and wires. Since the height is low, there is nothing to plan for under-floor airflow. On the other hand, standard access floors are large enough for a man to crawl through and some can even be up to six feet in height. In these access floors, airflow has to be planned well.
Based on your layout and your need for a raised access floor, we will provide the necessary suggestions. Supervision of the place, as well as a discussion with you, will make it easier for us to create the raised access flooring of your choice.
