Building Strip out works

Typically, an interior strip out includes the removal of all floor coverings, partition walls, glass, kitchens, toilets, ceilings, mechanical and electrical, air conditioning and ventilation. We can operate equally as effectively on a small-scale single office or a 6-story office block or a 1000 square foot retail outlet managing the project from start to finish as the single point of contact. Our experienced team will weigh up the risks using method statements and up to date manual handling systems ensuring that health and safety is maintained at the highest level from start to finish throughout the project.

We can also strip out occupied buildings ensuring your business stays live throughout the transition phase. We can do this by separating the strip out into phases, for example stripping out floor by floor and moving your staff accordingly ensuring a smooth transition between each strip out phase.

We strive to ensure the removal of waste materials are disposed of in the most environmentally friendly manner possible, keeping fully compliant with LEED and BREAAM criteria. We aim to dispose of at least 95 percent of all removed material into fully traceable closed loop recycling systems. We have a large network of waste disposal companies and partners, allowing us to tailor specific materials to their respective recycling centre.

When you move to a new office space or want to renovate an existing, you need to remove all the furniture and fixtures in it. Even if you don’t want to keep or take with you all the fixtures, they still have to go and you need someone to remove them for you. That’s exactly what a strip out is.

Most lease agreements would want you to hand over a leased space just the way you took it, and this means, without anything that you added on during the course of your stay in that space. Some agreements even have a list of mandatory things that must be removed before you can leave your premises without incurring penalty charges.

Though this seems like a really big task, in reality, it is a time-consuming and effort-centric job. This is why we send our highly experienced team to remove all that you don’t need, either to satisfy a lease or taking the building back to the shell to make way for a larger scale refurbishment, without damaging the integrity of the structure in any way.  Our team are highly experienced in taking on large scale strip outs in office blocks and large commercial premises. Our experience in this field helps us cut costs that are passed on to you, due to more efficient management systems and close communication between our team members.

After everything is removed, we also clean thoroughly using the necessary implements. So, the space can be transformed into something new or it is ready to be used by the next tenant.
