Industrial and Warehouse Design

Having the right industrial and warehouse design is way more than mere aesthetics. You want a workplace that is highly functional and conducive enough to help your business to operate and grow.  Also, an efficient warehouse design is an integral aspect of an efficient supply chain that should serve your customers and enhance the productivity of your employees.

In addition, the warehouse should evolve and grow with your business. It should give you the flexibility to increase or decrease the storage of inventory, based on the needs of your business at that given point in time.

We are experts in designing the right industrial and warehouse space that is most conducive for your business.  Here are some things we do in this regard.

  • Streamlined layouts – We work with you to understand your needs, and accordingly will create the perfect layout for you.  With this layout, you’ll be able to make the most of your storage space and at the same time, it will make it easy for your employees to access inventory and move them around as needed.
  • Shelves and racks – Any warehouse requires shelves and racks, as it gives more storage area for each inch of your warehouse.  Generally speaking, warehouses use racks more than shelves, as the latter is used mostly for displaying small items to end users. To store large boxes and items, you need racks. We build racks of all sizes, so you can store whatever you want.  Some examples of shelves we build include pallet racks and slotted angled ones.
  • Cold room construction – Depending on the nature of your business, you may need cold rooms to store perishable items. Though cold rooms are mostly used in food, beverages and pharmaceutical industries, there are times when a few other industries need them as well. So, if you think your business needs a cold room, we can do it for you. We build traditional cold rooms that are a permanent feature of your warehouse as well as modular cold rooms that can be removed when not needed.
  • Mezzanine flooring – A strategy used by many warehouses to increase their available space is mezzanine flooring. This is a temporary floor that can help you to use your vertical space better to store your inventory. This way, you can have two or three floors in your warehouse instead of just one, and obviously this means more storage space for your inventory boxes.
  • Interiors as needed – Who ever said warehouses and industrial places have to look dull and boring? In fact, warehouses should be aesthetically pleasing too, as research shows that it makes a big difference to the morale and productivity of employees. Moreover, a neat interior could make it an inviting place to bring your customers, if at all you have to. This doesn’t mean you have to splurge on the interiors, but just make the place pleasing and highly functional.

The above is not an exhaustive list, but some things that we have done in the past. We will work with you to match your requirements in building a top-class warehouse.
