At Manor Interior Solutions, we recently had the privilege of working on a project that underscores the value of a well-designed kitchenette in the workplace. We were tasked with installing a state-of-the-art kitchen at the new Andretti headquarters in Silverstone, UK, a project that not only highlights our craftsmanship but also the significance of creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for employees.

A well-equipped kitchenette in the workplace is more than just a place to grab a coffee or heat up lunch. It’s a hub for social interaction, a space where employees can take a break, recharge, and foster camaraderie. In modern work environments, where work-life balance is increasingly important, having a comfortable and inviting kitchen area can significantly contribute to employee satisfaction and productivity.

For the Andretti HQ, we were meticulous in selecting high-quality materials and finishes that reflect the prestige of the brand. We installed luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring with a wood or stone effect, chosen for its durability and aesthetic appeal. This not only provides a stylish look but also ensures longevity and ease of maintenance—key factors in a high-traffic area like a kitchen. The kitchen features proprietary cabinetry, including lower cupboards, wall cupboards, and built-in appliances like under-counter dishwashers and larder fridges. We opted for a silver granite worktop and splashbacks, adding a touch of elegance while maintaining functionality. To enhance the utility of the kitchen, we installed a Quooker Chrome Fusion 4-in-1 tap, offering hot, cold, filtered, and boiling water at the touch of a button. This modern addition not only improves convenience but also aligns with sustainability efforts by reducing water waste.
